The Challenge

Humanery is a marketplace making waves in the $166 billion a year men's grooming and self-care space. Their mission is to provide men everywhere with the confidence to engage in their self-care, and to be empowered to look and feel their best. Humanery has some impressive backers including Kaya VC and angel investors with experience at Google, Just Eat, Expedia and Morgan Stanley.  Humanery was looking for a freelance growth marketer to come in fast and support their marketing team on the development of their paid media and experimentation programme to accelerate their early growth.

The Talent

We ran the brief variables through our matching engine to find the perfect freelancer for Humanery. We matched Humanery to Neha, a growth marketer with 13 year experience in data driven marketing and experimentation.

She’s worked with large multi billion dollar brands as well as start ups and brings innovation, rigour and results. She’s the founder of growth Spin and a Mentor at AWS Fintech Accelerator applying her knowledge to some of the most innovative tech brands out there. She also has experience with men’s grooming brands.

The Results

Neha’s experience meant she was able to hit the ground running fast. The immediate scope included optimising existing Google ads activity including ad copy, keyword research, competition gap analysis. She then to set up a programme of experimentation using new channels Meta and Linkedin with creative playbooks for each channel. Finally Neha was tasked with landing page recommendations to improve CRO. Results were swift particularly with Google ads where Neha was able to improve performance immediately. Sales volume and efficiency both improved 20% within 4 weeks.
